Taekwondo History:
I originally started Karate training in 1988. -competed in the "Point Circuit" for about 3 years. then I began training in TKD as well. -competed in both style tournaments for about 3 years. I decided that TKD was more for me. -It's been that way ever since.

Life as an instructor:
-My life revolves around Taekwondo. It always has. I had the opportunity to play other sports when I was younger. but I always wound up putting all my time into TKD.

Life outside the club:
I love listening to music, dancing, playing pool, hanging out with friends. Taekwondo is.. Besides my family.. "My life"!

A significant moment:
Winning the U.S. Nationals, was for me, extremely significant. At the time I had a broken right foot, and a sprained left ankle... Just hearing my friends and team mates, counting off the last 10 seconds of my final match... That feeling, that moment, that whole experience,
the only word for it all...
 "indescribable".

I always find something positive in every work-out. I appreciate the experience every time we train. I love the opportunity to train and teach. With the diversity of people within the TKD community, it's everybody's energy, that helps create the motivation.

I just want to say, I feel blessed and completely appreciate, having a place like "Xcel TKD center" to teach and train at. Again, it's everyone's energy, both students and fellow instructors, that motivate me! I like making new friends, with the newcomers. I wouldn't trade my TKD comm"UNITY" for any other!
